The Lake and Park School accepts applications for children applying to preschool through fifth grade. There is a half day, nine to noon, preschool option, as well as a full day option, depending on family wishes and developmental needs of the child. Children may apply to the school for the half day preschool who will be at least three by September 30th of their enrolling year. (Four year old’s are encouraged to apply for the half day as well.) Children may apply for the full day preschool option who will be five by December 31st of their enrolling year.
We provide an environment in which we meet the needs of each child where “he or she is”. Our multi-age approach allows us to individualize for children in many ways while placing them in a classroom setting of peers.
Enrollment decisions are based on a one page application completed by the parent, and input from current teachers for those applying at the elementary level. We also take the opportunity to spend time with each child during a school visit. The school does not administer or require testing for admission.
Please use our online application to apply to the school. There is a fee of 75.00 per application. Upon submitting an application, you will receive a confirmation via email. Contact Eileen Hynes, Director of Admissions, at any time during the year at 206.721.3480 or email@example.com, with any questions.
The application process requires the following steps:
- A visit to the school: please sign up online for a tour.
- A completed application form with application fee by January 11, 2018.
- Deadline for financial aid applications is February 8, 2018.
- Enrollment decisions and contracts will be mailed March 16, 2018, to be returned by March 27, 2018.
Applications received after January 11, 2018 will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
